For more than 25 years, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (F.A.Z.) has invited prominent figures to take part in its now legendary photo series “Dahinter steckt immer ein kluger Kopf” The series portrays sharp minds reading the newspaper in surroundings that represent their work and achievements. In this way, the F.A.Z. pays tribute to people who shape political, economic, social and cultural discourse around the world. The career of SAP CEO Christian Klein is remarkable: at just 39, he became CEO of SAP in 2019, making him the youngest head of a DAX-listed company at the time. The campaign visual shows Klein sitting on an office chair, hidden behind a print edition of the F.A.Z. The entire photograph is covered in tiny letters, numbers and symbols. They form part of a piece of software code written in ABAP, the programming language developed by SAP.
